''Staff of Wondrous Smells - As '' is a magical quarterstaff. It can be of any of the material [[materials]] that staffs are normally made of, and a ruby is on the tip of the staff. It does exceptional damage for is slightly lighter and packs heavier punch than a staff and is very durableusual quarterstaff.  When it strikes an enemy in combat, it sometimes creates clouds a cloud of macial scents. One of two things can result. If a blue cloud is created, it is dropped on the PC. By staying in the cloud, the PC gains many positive intrinsics - Infravision, Haste, Telecontrol, Polycontrol, ESP, Levitate. If a red cloud is created, it is dropped on whatever enemy you just hit with the staff. It confers many negitive intrinsics, some most of which aren't listed on the status line. As far as I can tell, you can get Teleportitis, Polymorphitis, slow, and dizzy from this. You, for apparent reasons, can not lose your sense of smell from the cloud, however. A  Although the blue cloud will allways always be dropped on the PC player and the red cloud will allways be dropped one always put on mobs, no matter what. However, when once the clouds are dropped appear they remain do stay there until they vanishfor a while, which means that a monster can wander into a blue cloud or and vice verseversa if you are not careful, which is and the result can be dangerous.
