As with [[Valpurus]], you one should only pray to Mortifer after being called his Champion. Once as you are sacrifice on his champion, he will reward you with a "heavy weapon of pure corruption", which is the ancient mace named [[Neerc Se-Ulb]]. Unlike most artifact weapons, Neerc Se-Ulb is always enchanted +6 by default. Neerc Se-Ulb has a life-draining attack that kicks in every once in a while, which transfers hit points from the victim to the wielder. Using Neerc Se-Ulb will also cause the wielder to gradually become more [[chaoticaltar]].

He may also send an When pleased, Mortifer will recognize you as his champion and grant you a [[angelNeerc Se-ulb|"heavy weapon of pure corruption"]] or Erado, his Archangel, to assist you.
