Once you are his champion, he will reward you with a "heavy weapon of pure corruption", which is the ancient mace named [[Neerc Se-Ulb]]. Unlike most artifact weapons, Neerc Se-Ulb is always enchanted +6 by default. Neerc Se-Ulb has a life-draining attack that kicks in every once in a while, which transfers hit points from the victim to the wielder. Using Neerc Se-Ulb will also cause the wielder to gradually become more [[chaotic]].== Praying ==

There are no fixed locations for Mortifer's altar; you may find it randomly in the [[Underwater Tunnels]] or [[Gloomy Cavesdungeon]]s. == Strategy == If you can raise you piety with Mortifer high enough to become his chamion, Neerc Se-ulb is a very powerful and useful weapon that can be obtained relatively early in the game.
