Legifer is the god of law and order, and second hand to Valpurus. His alignement is L+ (very lawful).
Praying
If Legifer is happy, he'll call upon Inlux and cause a big beefy explosion centered on your location. This explosion does not harm the player. He may also send you an angel, or even his arcangel, Iustitia. Praying to Legifer may also earn you a Helmet of Piercing Perception, or a Scroll of Detect Material
If he's unhappy, he'll cast of a beam of righteous fire at you. Like a landmine, this can detonate the player's carried wands and explosives, leading to a devastating chain reaction.
Altars
There are no fixed locations for Legifer's altars, they can be found randomly throughout Underwater Tunnels and Gloomy Caves.
Aligned items
Scrolls of detect material, helmets of piercing perception and lanterns greatly boost your relation when offered to Legifer.
