Most of the time, when you pray to Atavus, he does nothing, but sometimes he might give you a chest with random content.

He will also replace severed limbs. Like all gods, he'll send you an angel when pleased. If you anger Atavus, he will take away one of your items.

Become a Champion of Atavus to receive a spiffy new arcanite plate mail. Its pretty, light, and strong (AV 18).

Atavus will give you a banana at the start of your adventure on December 25th, known as Christmas Day in some countries.
