Archangels cannot be [[Taming|tamed]] (unless they are gifted to you by their [[Gods|god]] already tamed), [[Wand of Cloning|cloned]], confused, knocked unconscious or [[polymorph]]ed and they are highly resistant to [[Wand of Fireballs|fire]], [[Wand of Lightning|electricity]] and also [[Wand of StrikingEnergy|magic]]. All archangels are intrinsically [[Life Saved]] thus surviving their death once no matter what, as there is no [[Amulets|Amulet of life saving]] to rip off their neck.
The weapons of archangels depend on their alignment: Lawful archangels get a [[diamond]] [[flaming sword]] +4, neutral archangels a +4 [[sapphire]] [[Blunt Weapons|war hammer]], and chaotic archangels a [[ruby]] [[Polearms|halberd]] +4.
