Musical Instrument

Most musical instruments in IVAN are magical - you can apply them to produce a specific mystical effect, though you will need to wait some time between uses, until the instrument recharges itself. Using the instrument before its cooldown will simply yield a failure message.

Horns

Horn of Fear (left) and Bravery (right).

With succesful use of the Horn of Fear, all enemies in the effective range are Panicked. Horn of Bravery, on the other hand, is used to negate panick in both you and your allies.

Lyre of Charm

This handy-dandy musical instrument[1] will attepmt to charm everything in a one-square radius when applied.

Success message: "You produce a mesmerizing sound."

Failure message: "You produce a highly alluring sound."

Whistles

Two kinds of whistles exist in the game, an ordinary Whistle and a Magical Whistle. Both are used to recall your pet if it wanders off and gets lost, but while the normal Whistle will only indicate your position to the pet so it can try to reach you, the magical one will teleport your pet right next to you.
