A stethoscope is a tool that can be used to view the full stats of any creature as well as any status effects it might have at present.
Using a stethoscope (by (a)pplying it) on a creature is a free action, meaning it does not take any time to perform.

- Using a stethoscope on Richel Decos fails to produce a stat readout, instead producing the message "you hear coins clinking inside."
