Mind worms are unfinished enemies introduced in IVAN CVS. They come in two varieties: hatchlings and boils. Currently the two different varieties are identical.
Code exists for the mind worms being able to attack the player from range with "psi blasts" and if next to a player, attempt to burrow into their skull and lay eggs. Hatchlings would later spew forth from the player's head.
This code is not currently in use, however and the mind worms will simply mill about and make weak attempts at striking enemies.
