The assassin is a quick, frustrating enemy found quite early into the game.
Assassins have a very strange anatomy, their limbs actually being of negative weight. This, however, allows them to dodge pretty much all of your attacks and also move extremely fast. They also explode in gratuitous spray of gore on death, coating your equipment in blood and likely rusting it. As such, it might be clever to take out assassins at range whenever possible, should you be able to actually hit them from afar.
