Body armour is the main piece of armor for your character and AV should be taken note of.
There are many kinds of armor, such as leather, cloth ( instead of robes for mage like charecters ) and metal. Enchants
Armour can be enchanted normally to increase its AV.
Wishing
When wished for "body armor" always gives either:
Troll Hide Armor Of Greater Health AV4
or
Leather Armor Of Greater Health AV2
Although this is an advantage to the user, it will guarantee harder monsters in the caves.
