Attnam is a large town centered on the Cathedral, which is dedicated to Valpurus and run by the High Priest Petrus. After you deliver your encrypted scroll to him, he will send you on a quest to destroy the dark frog Elpuri. Once you slay Elpuri, you may either deliver his head to Petrus, or continue on to further adventures, which may culminate in battling Petrus himself.
Entrance to Attnam as seen in the World Map
Level Features
- Cathedral of Attnam - a gigantic frog-shaped building dedicated to the god Valpurus. There is an altar to Valpurus, tended by a priest, who can cure diseases and re-attach limbs for a much higher price than the priestess in New Attnam. Other wings of the Cathedral include living quarters for Petrus's wives, a room full of kamikaze dwarves, two rooms full of treasure, and a room with a pool full of dolphins.
- Library - the library buys and sells books and scrolls.
- Shop - The shop in Attnam will buy and sell your items. It will also purchase books and scrolls, but it is recommended that you sell these to the Library instead, since the shop will eventually run out of money
- Repair Shops - There are two repair shops in Attnam, one for fixing torn cloth items, and the other for repairing broken metal items.
Monsters
- Petrus - the High Priest of the great Frog.
- Haathbar - the Librarian,a very wise man who will give you many useful tips
- Sir Haedlac Galladon VII - the master guard, who boasts a lot but is probably really a coward

- Ikiros the smith
- Mirvo the tailor
- There are many light frogs in the cathedral. These are unique to Attnam.
