Fountains

Fountains can have both good and bad effects, it is up to you whether or not they are worth the risk. Drinking water from fountains can save you from starving if you have no food. You can also fill empty bottles with water from fountains by dipping them ('!' command).

Effects

• Can confer Infravision
• Can teleport you across the current level.
• Can teleport you to a different fountain on a same or different level.
• Can create hostile animal(s) like snakes or frogs or large rats.
• Can create friendly pet animal(s) like snakes or frogs or large rats.
• Can increase and decrease stats.
• Can provide modificators like Invisibility, etc...
• Can spill different types of rings.
• Can spawn a spirit which grants a Wish.
• Can polymorph you (like into a carnivorus plant)
• Can afflict you with lycanthropy.
• Can spawn a mystic dark frog somewhere in the level (only 1/1600 chance)
• Can summon Dolphin.
