Wand of Resurrection

A wand made of Phoenix Feather, attached to Seges and generated with between one and three charges.

It revives any adjacent creature it targets. This is very useful with regards to pets, as it allows the player both to restore a dead pet and to gain new pets - reviving a creature apparently makes good enough impression on most creatures that they will enter the player's services.

Zapped on self, the wand can restore lost limbs, but does not heal any damage. With copiuous amount of luck, it's even possible to revive youself - however, that would require the wand to break in the same instant the player dies (for example from an explosion).
