So I started playing LIvan about 2 weeks ago, and until now just beat it for the first time. As you can see I haven't had a whole lot of good scores, everything in this one game seemed to turn out just right.
What I said in the title stands, my kill list includes Sherarax (lol I ran over her and 1 shotted without even noticing she was there), Ur Khan, Golgor khan and Ischaldir the dark archmage, as well as Elpuri, Oree and.. Petrus .
As for my gear as early as GC lvl 7 I already had all my gear in valpurium and was dual wielding Cruentus' muramasa and a valpurium 2 handed sword named Aethier - of course with a little help of phoenix feather arms. It wasn't until I met Ischaldir that I decided I needed to change them to golden eagle feather in order to finish him. By the time I was at Oree all my armor was at 9 or 10 and and I was wielding a 14 valpurium aethier with Valpurus' Justifier (decided to kill Petrus first and take his weapon without touching his left nut in order to make the rest of the game easier). Also had an amulet of lifesaving which I never used along with a ring of polymorph control resistance according to situation.
All in all I guess I found the most challenging bits to be clearing the levels before Oree and killing Ischaldir the dark archmage. That room filled with mystic frogs, master necromancers and elder dark mages is just sick. Having both a 9 fire cloak, a 9 electricity cloak and 2 diamond electricity resistance rings handy works very nicely, since I was getting bombarded by retarded veteran kamikaze dwarves all the time while working that room. Ischaldir also almost killed me twice, even though I had 1100 hit points. Since he uses both fire and electricity based spells I equipped my 9 fire cloak on my back and 9 electricity cloak on offhand while having justifier on main hand. I then proceeded by teleporting up to his face and beating on his ass. He actually survived the first hits and ran off a little, I guess im lucky he didnt teleport.
As for Elpuri, Sherarax, Oree and Petrus, the only one out of them that actually hurt me was Petrus, but only for about 50 damage before I busted his groin D:.
