Hi, could I have one of those? I'd like juanvaldez, after what I think was my best character.

Oh and another bug, bears eat wood. That's kinda weird.

Sometimes teleport fails when you pray to Sophos in an emergency and he "TELEPORTS" YOU TO THE EXACT SAME SPOT. Thanks a lot Sophos.

It looks like imps are the only creatures which include CreateCorpse code [the ones that don't create corpses] that don't have a SendToHell() line. Not sure if that's important or what it does but it doesn't literally output the "sucked into hell" line as golems, skeletons, and even Petrus have it.

It will be a pain to compile on Windows but if nobody but me and Darkstar are seeing it I'll try to add some SendToHell()s and see if it makes any difference.

I was wrong about items on the ground causing the problem, my new theory is the crash happens whenever they're beheaded. It's hard to tell because it's an instant crash to desktop, but I kicked my last one to death and no crash.

Edit: ugh guess not that either, just beheaded one

Pyrgian rug. Like Persian but different. A genie could add that to his offer of wish or slavery. Or hostile genies could drop one. I feel like it should be directly tied into genies and lamps.

Edit: Or! From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_carpet

Quote
In Russian folk tales, Baba Yaga can supply Ivan the Fool with a flying carpet or some other magical gifts (e.g. a ball that rolls in front of the hero showing him the way, or a towel that can turn into a bridge). Such gifts help the hero to find his way "beyond thrice-nine lands, in the thrice-ten kingdom". Russian painter Viktor Vasnetsov illustrated the tales featuring a flying carpet on two occasions.

Imps are crashing my game almost every time I kill one on windows. Both mirror and plain. I save before fighting them now, but if I do get a crash it keeps happening no matter how many times I try the same actions.

It seems like I have to let them die in a different place to avoid the crash but can't say for sure. Something on the ground may be interfering with their death effects.

The crafting menu already allows the player to "disarm" spider webs. Maybe dismantling could contextually detect nearby seen traps (or any item within reach), like dipping detects nearby fountains.

Super happy with the new quests by the way, it's great to play this game unsure what to expect again. Whichever of you guys are putting all this work in lately, you're doing a great job.

I could do without any corona references. There was a game I used to like from the early nineties that referred to things like scud missiles all the time. I imagine it's aged quite poorly. Capitalism/communism and coke/Pepsi style references are timeless.

I've always wanted to use stethoscopes to check doors for traps.

Also could poison be non-corrosive? My sweet steel dagger of venom turned out to be kinda useless. Also it's a pain to navigate Aslona, not sure why there's not a front door into town or an obvious way to find the wizard and the guy with the prince quest.
