Found an ommel bone platemail, hoping to find more items to buff him. Time to accelerate his growth!

Hope it's okay to necro threads... I'm new to all this.
So my question is: where/how do I get this information window? Can't find anything in the controls... Thanks.

Thanks for those hints. I'll try and put them into practice next time around.
IF I manage to get enough resistence by the time I run into one of those frogs - this time I wouldn't have stood a chance, as one or, if I was lucky, two of those lightning strikes were enough to get one of my body parts from white to black.

F*ck! Is there anything I can do to counter the effects of mustard gas? Does it ever stop? Can I tough it out with some healing bottles?

nvm, found out I can tough it out.

That was a long run...made it quite far into the GC, but then I got into some trouble at one of the lower levels. I killed off dozens of zombies and a necromancer in a large, open room, but then something I could not see started zapping me, I lost an arm and barely escaped alive. I went to Attnam, got a new arm and after that, the invisible zapping was waiting for me at GC level 1. My equipment started disappearing, and I got zapped with electric shocks all the time..I went out and rested several times, but in the end it got me.
Turns out it was a "mystical dark frog"

Well, I never found out - a Wolf destroyed my leather armor, and then things went awry pretty fast. I lost an arm and a leg in quick succession, and in my desperation I zapped the wolf with my wand of fireballs. The resulting blast took off my remaining limbs but mercifully knocked me unconscious, too, so I did not feel any more pain while I bled to death.

I think 4zb4 is right - my limbs are all white and the strength loss on arms and legs was just 1 point each. So I guess I did lose a level from going hungry and then wandering around without a fight for too long.

Hi everyone, I just discovered this gem in a roguelike thread on a forum and I've been enjoying it for hours already.

I've finally made it past Geneatrix (the first 8 tries or so it didn't occur to me to use the wands and scrolls in my backpack when I fought her) and into Attnam.

I've now gone into that next dungeon south of Attnam, and on my fiirst trip back up to sell some stuff I suddenly started losing stats. First my arm strength went down, then my leg strength, and then I realized my hp had dropped from 44 to 36.

Can anybody tell me what the causes might be?
Also, I'd been poisoned some time before and gone hungry for some time as a result because I was low on food. However, at the time I lost the stats, I was not suffering from any negative effects.
