Goblin princes often carry a bottle, don;t forget to loot their corpses. Also mellis kicks ass, pray to him with empty bottles and get lots of antidote, potions, ommel fluids, sulphuric acid (great for dissolving meteoric steel walls or throwing at named baddies).

with those stats you could easily go back to new attnam and kill sumo for belt of levitation. While your at it Kill Decos and take his mithril plate mail +1, it's way better than you steel plate mail which is slowing you down big time

The best thing you could do is switch to boots of Agi and enchant the fuck out of them. It makes a freaking huge difference to your fighting ability, to the point where Sherarax doesn;t scare me any more.

For GC6 just use invisibilty. the zombies won;t chase you and you won;t get leprosy, dwarves will ignore you, all you have to do is fight mistresses, orcs, and dark knights (all of which have infravision).

The really important thing is telecontrol and ESP/infravision to fight the mystic dark frog on GC7. Eat a floating eye and a bunch of binkdogs or have multiple rings/amulets because the little bugger will teleport them away.

Antidote of course! you only need half a bottle so split them before you drink unless you have a bunch already. Edit: Atomic beat to the punch by a few seconds. Antidote is 100% effective.

yep.

I thought there might be a handful of people who would do this and if you died you could branch off someone elses game and either play from there on your own or play it as a communal game.

So Chaostrom died in his tourney entry but he could still play the communal game or start from someone else's UT1 save.

So far it's been a flop. Only two entries n the tourney, one a high priest ending and the other death or turn 2.

Thats exactly why you have to eat them befire they take over a level. It is the best way to deal with them IMO. Use a stethescope and if you get polymorphitis and don;t have a ring of polycontrol then just go in and out of the magic bubbles until you get it. then go eat a unicorn or hang out on a cleared level or in town til polymorphitis wears off.

White and gray are safe to eat, black is not. White purifies you, grey neutalizes you, and black I can;t remember because i never eat them. If you are trying to get a permanent state then do not eat unicorns, it removeseven perma states. On the other hand if you found a ring of polycontrol and just drank from every fountain form UT1-GC8 and ended up permaslowed and permaconfused then seek ye out a unicorn.

I also find that the best way to deal with magic mushrooms is to kil them and eat them so that they do not re-spawn. Unicorns could come in handy here too.

what was your score, 1?

Maybe take a crack at the communal game. I'll take the turn after yours.

It would be cool if the devs came out with a new IVAN version now that I finished this one. I still have to kill Ischaldirh though. I forgot about him. need HP of 450 I think to get him to spawn.
