Well, I went through the development sub-forum, and between the lack of participation from volunteers and slow feedback from the DEV group meant we never really got anything done, but there's plenty of ideas. Erno has the ideas compilation from players, then there's these:

http://ivan.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ivan/ivan/Doc/Obsolet...

Then there's the experimental God system, capristo should have access to the thread:

Finally, there was this:

New Attnam is too small, and Sherarax too fast, for Ischaldirh to win against her. Even in Attnam she has about a 1/2 chance of winning.

Yes, he does the broken bottles, but I think I got the banana peels wrong. That's the wand of resurrection.

That sounds hilariously IVAN-esque. I approve.

Loricatus is great if you're having bad luck with scrolls. Not only does he harden the iron chain of materials, there's the odd enchantment and, even more rarely, scrolls of hardening/enchantment. As well as the fact that you can make use of him even when he doesn't like you

Mellis is quite handy as well. With the free bottle/can refills there's the odd chance you'll get stat-improving stuff. Not to mention you'll never go hungry. If I remember aright, he also fixes broken bottles and regenerates bananas if you have the peels.

It's one of the oldest known tricks and well known to many of us, so it hasn't been discussed in a long while. Most effective way to make use of it is to wield an empty, large chest. Enough food to fill you up many times over. That said, it really isn't worth pissing off Loricatus unless you're starving or you're going for lawful/chaos.

If I remember aright, there's a small chance for healing liquid to regenerate multiple limbs too.
