Dwarves don't use wands. They will however pick up wands I believe. Any wands donated to the cathedral immediately goes to the dwarves' inventory.

Yeah, I think eating them or polymorphing them into something else is the only way to do it. Or luggin them around until they rot away. Not recommended
Although Slob, are you saying acid can destroy corpses? I didn't think they could be destroyed at all.

Unlikely. It's not the material, it's the fact a sword is still a weapon. Hell, I've gone on a rampage with an air scythe before and managed to wreak havoc aplenty.

You can get respectable skill levels without special training. Even if all you're doing is clearing out the level before killing Jenny, you can still get 8-12 in most weapon classes.

Also, you can still deal damage with a cloth sword. A carrot fails to behead a farmer at 1020 ASTR :/

Of course. Usually into golems, but that just works in her advantage because of her speed.

Also, could you check if enchantments have an effect? From what I've seen, more enchantments have a greater chance. WoT seem to steal more often, and CW seem to polymorph targets into stronger monsters.

Actually Bored, the greater plants give very good experience early game, so it doesn't matter if you change weapon class in UT.
