We'd have to figure out how exactly to transfer everything. My actual hosting doesn't expire until march, just the domain expires in November. Domain itself is only about $8, hosting is about $100 per year. But since I'm going to keep my host for my other websites, I'll be paying for that anyway so I could still host it, somebody else would just have to manage the files and admin the forum.
Important.... anybody interested in taking over the site? I don't have time to work on this and the domain expires in November. Also, I'm not as active, esp in the General area, and don't know you guys as well as others. If nobody steps up to it then don't worry, I will make sure it stays running, but if anybody is interested in taking over, that would be great! Prefer a respected member of course, and I would like to remain a moderator under the new administration. Anybody? Possibly, we could get a list of who's interested and then create a poll.
Even better, just wield a spear. This is lighter, nearly as powerful, and will train you for Mjolak as well (spears & halberds are both polearms)! And you can also equip Vermis if you happen along that. 90% of my wins have used Mjolak.
While we're on the topic of food....why can't I eat carnivorous plants? Seems like I can eat everything else in there...Also, the time I was in Attnam I saw a stack of 200 bananas in the goods shops there.
I think you can't eat the plants because that would make it too easy to get past the UT without starving. And there is always a stack of bananas in Attnam shop
If there's a mine in your path, just tunnel into the wall next to it, and step around it. Even if you have fire resistance, why take a chance? your equipment/items might be damaged
I usually just barge in and try to take them down as fast as I can, tough ones first. Acid rain seems like a good trick to use. As slob says, Elec resistance, tele control, and agility are all essential. I think the worst thing about these mages is their ability to teleport your equipment. You lose your +12 Mjolak and then have to spend time searching for it, by the time you find it they've removed your amulet and rings, and while you were busy searching they pounded you with balls of electricity - it really gets frustrating
