Autosave didn't work? That sucks.

That's a good point. I guess light gray with white text + dark gray with black text doesn't really make sense.

Okay, made that change. Thoughts? (I have to fix the user menu button)

Hmm.. Yeah it was really hard to come up with the colors since everything was a shade of gray. I think all white might look awful though. I will try playing with it... eventually

I think their benefit would be more rusting/breaking enemy weapons and armor than actually injuring them

melting walls mostly. I usually zap people like Sherry with them too, not sure if it does any good

SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
(link also contains spoilers) Experiment ZQ-29 the spider silk golem

it is the only truly invisible creature in IVAN i think... since it can't be detected by ESP or Infravision

I'm confused. So scitalks are only effective for a limited time per monster?
So technically I can only talk to a Mystic Dark Frog X amount of times before he becomes useless, but I can then go and tame another Mystic Dark Frog and get another X amount of beneficial scitalks?

That is correct. That applies to all NPCs and monsters.
I believe this is similar to scroll enchantments... at first you have a high chance of getting the bonus but the more you talk to them, the lower that chance gets, until it's basically 0.

Depends on what you mean, yes you should chat with it until you're certain you've milked it for all it's worth, but for example if you sci-talk a giant dark frog, kill it, and resurrect it again it will not help you anymore (wasted some charges before I figured this one out)

Just checked the script. Orcs have infravision, skeletons do not.
Interestingly both have gas immunity, which I wouldn't have guessed for orcs. Xinroch also has added teleport control.

Even worse, necromancers have intrinsic infravision too. So the only things you're likely to fool with invisibility in GC6 are the zombies and kamikaze dwarves.

yes, but there are so many zombies, it's really useful. Mostly because they're annoying and just get in the way, but I've also contracted leprosy so many times just from crossing from staircase to staircase in GC6
