...no April Fools Day joke this year?

Yeah, Chrome's been giving me warnings that "something's not right here!".
Saying the site contains content from "sites known for malware" such as greenpix.in and nt20.in

Also AVG blocked a "blackhole exploit" when I visited this page.

Have we been infested?

Turns out I was completely wrong.

How did I do it?

SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
Teleported Jenny, tried not to kill anything, picked up an oil lamp and some gas grenades on the way. Hoped to get a hostile genie when I was in the centre chamber of Attnam (and did), got lucky when throwing gas grenades at it while Petrus was near and waited for the inevitable.

Note: I didn't actually do what was in the spoiler - although it's entirely possible. All I did was a little script editing to put a wall behind Petrus and put some gas grenades and a belt of levitation in New Attnam. Then I floated on over and spammed gas grenades till Petrus died.

Haha, the mustard assassination trick eh.

Hey hey hey! Wait a moment, didn't someone do a test and find Petrus's Endurance was so high it restored the health loss from Mustard Gas? (Unless that was some speculation I recall from somewhere without actual testing?)
Or maybe I'm completely wrong.

The only other way I can think of getting the Justifier pre-victory would be to cut his arm off and have it land in a convenient space.

Anyway, congratulations on your victory!

Hmm... I don't remember the Wise Farmer in LIVAN. Where is he?

GC 7 or 8 iirc.
He's the thing I most despise in LIVAN next to mystic dark frogs.

isn't there already an explanation as to why their foods dont rot?

Maybe because it's damn near freezing in Attnam by the time you get there?
Perhaps the same could be said for the GC shop (not that i've seen any food in there as far as I remember) because it's so deep underground and kept in a cold stone room.

Coding wise, I have no idea.

After 40 days if memory serves.

Only once in a blue moon does a man survive 1001 nights in IVAN.
Thanks in part to the set spawn date for Izzy.

I was thinking more of the giant carnivorous plants that spawn eventually mobbing the town first, and THEN pissing off the townsfolk.

And in response to the magic mushroom thing, my idea was getting them to polymorph or at least teleportitis the other people around Attnam so you'd only have to deal with petrus himself and maybe that archangel that shows up. Would be easier than being mobbed by the whole town, I would think.

I'm reasonably sure the magic effects add extra damage to the attacks.
I'd say that the lightning effect is more useful than the fire from flaming swords because where the fire can affect only one enemy, the lightning can pass through several.
Of course the downside of thunder hammers is the possibility of the lightning reflecting off a wall and back into you, but the wise man never uses them without the appropriate protection from rings or cloaks.
Neerc Se'ulb (spelling?) has a similar effect to flaming swords, where it drains the life from the enemy. I think it returns it to you, but i'm not too sure.

Also, real men dual wield Turox.

Hell, imagine if Jenny was tameable, portable and the spawned plants were friendly?
Might make IVAN unbearably easy.
And then we'd have a spin-off of that crazy mushroom infestation all over again.
Which reminds me, has anyone tried getting the "kill petrus" (or become king or whatever) ending through using magic mushrooms to screw with Attnam?
