I meant as in resurrected by another necromancer. Poor choice of words in context.
Anyway, I plan on checking this now...
EDIT: Ok, nope I was wrong. Zombie necromancers everywhere, not one revived to his previous magic-casting state. I must have been drinking last time I played IVAN, I swear the ones in GC6 kept respawning to their former glory.
I vaguely remember something to do with the skulls... hmm...
Well, you can sell them or use them for golem material. Or offer them to the god of your choice.
Always remember to decapitate and remove the head from a necromancer if there's other necromancers around!
...not that you've much choice in the matter.
Hah, yeah gaseous limbs do have some insane flexibility stats. But also really low hp and strength iirc...
Good luck fighting with a crushingly low burden limit and no strength to lift the smallest of weapons.
EDIT: Just did a quick wiz mode test. Air and Skunk Smell (and thus likely all gas material) make for insanely high DEX and AGI, but in return leave you unable to carry anything without being burdened, and result in an ASTR and LSTR of 1. Your fists are pretty damn good in combat though... up until the big baddies spawn because you have stupidly high stats. The guy I tested with, for example, tore through 4 spiders and 1 carnivorous plant in UT1 before an assassin apparated out of the darkness and promptly stabbed him to death because he was physically unable to wear armor. All he had was an iron helmet and the encrypted scroll which put him into burdened status.
I like using Pepsi for my whips, but that's highly unlikely to happen, if not entirely impossible outside of wizard mode.
I don't know the exact code, but iirc the whip weapons rely more on the flexibility value of a material than its strength value when determining their damage output. So yes, spider silk is probably the best you can get.
And yes, SoCM changes the lash itself, not the handle.
I've always wanted to be able to change both materials... assuming the second material does nothing weapon-stats wise, it may prove useful to change the handle materials to something ultra-light. Or if it does, maybe heavier materials for the handle result in sturdier weapons?
So Cap, my yellow chest bug persists but has now spread to the General Discussion forum's chests too.
I'm starting to think it's something on my side. Is there anything I can do to fix it if this is the case? Maybe something messed up when I had to flush my DNS cache after you moved servers?
