A giant magpie is an annoying crow-like bird, which steals a shiny thing from you and flies away.You Giant magpies are greedy birds that can chase and hunt it down but it is fast and good at evading your weapons too. It cannot open doors so make use of itbe found almost anywhere.
It They can steal one of your [[items]] on attack and then fly away. They are fast so it's easy to lose sight of them. The only items they steal are ones that are shiny - a [[Rings|ring]], [[Wands|wand]], [[Valuables|valuable]] stone or any sparkling metal or gemstone gear. You can tell if a magpie will target a given item by simply observing it in your inventory and seeing if it sparkles.<br> If the player does not have any shiny items on them, the magpie will simply attack the player. However, they are weak and easy to kill when cornered - note that giant magpies cannot open doors. If you corner one against a door or chase it into a room and close the door, it won't be able to escape.
