Encounters

Encounters are a planned feature for IVAN.
While traversing the world map, the player would randomly encounter enemies specific to the particular terrain tile they were on at the time.

Of course, development having ceased more than a decade ago they may never be implemented.

Encounters

• Glacier: - polar bear, mammoth
• Tundra: - polar bear, mammoth
• Evergreen forest: - wolf, goblin, spider, gibberling, bat, kobold
• Leafy forest: - wolf, goblin, spider, gibberling, bat, kobold, unicorn
• Steppe: - Cossack, bison, horse
• Swamp: dark knight, dark frog
• Desert: sand worm, nomad, Osama bin Laden
• Jungle: carnivorous plant, lion
