When Trent Highton was 8 his mother was killed in an unexpected meteor shower while traviling to Urkon (eastern sector). At 16 he tryed to commit suicide (unknown to the military). He signed up when he was 19, and recieved training in starship piloting and scanner technology. At 22 he fell on love with Emily Fisher (a medical officer) and got married at 23. When Trent was 28 Emily died from lung cancer. He is now 30 and is the naviagation officer of the Chimera. He has frequent bouts of self doubt and constantly thinks that he is bad luck.
