The cursed dark sword named Belderiver is an unbelievably powerful artifact sword made of psypher and black diamond.
It is naturally enchanted to +16 and possesses an attack strength greater than any single other unique weapon in the game. However, it has no intrinsic abilities to speak of.

According to Lampshade, the sword was initially meant to be obtained only through an extremely hard to find and complete quest. However he did not get around to including the quest in the game proper.

Trivia

Belderiver is the name of the cursed sword wielded by Oswald, the protagonist of the fourth story of Odin Sphere.
