If By themselves, they are simply a nuisance, but if you are unconscious this leaves you manage very vulnerable to kill them somehowattack. On the other hand, their corpses give long-term they make useful pets since they can also paralyze your enemies. If you eat a floating eye corpse it will bequeath [[ESP]] on you temporarily (but not permanentthe ability to detect intelligent creatures which are out of visible range) . Floating eyes are for the most part hostile creatures. Therefore an easy way to kill them is to throw something, such as a dagger, zap them with a wand (sharp thingslightning for example), usually) makes killing or even vomit on them easier.
