There are a number of ways in which the character can interact with Gods. You can gain knowledge of a god by visiting the god's altar, or reading the god's [[Book]]. Praying to [[Mellis]] will sometimes result in Mellis sharing knowledge of a certain god that you have not yet encountered. Reading the book of a certain God will also raise your relation with that god, and to a lesser extent your relation with other gods of a similar alignment.
