Sophos is the god of of knowledge, magic and handicrafts. His alignment is L-.

Pleased:

Teleports the player to a random tile regardless of telecontrol ("Suddenly, the fabric of space experiences an unnaturally powerful quantum displacement! You teleport away!")
Regrows a limb, made of an aligned material

Angry:

Teleports random body parts elsewhere ("Suddenly, the fabric of space experiences an unnaturally powerful quantum displacement!")

There are no fixed locations for Sophos' altars; they can be found throughout Underwater Tunnels and Gloomy Caves.

He will mostly grant a limb of hardened leather (though with enough intelligence this can hardened to more useful materials like phoenix feather or dragon hide); but may sometimes grant a limb of arcanite, mithril or even octiron.
