No, you will never see kittens or housecats in this game, and your starting pet will always be a dog, just as if you are a caveman or a barbarian. Well, what on earth am I talking about?
A large cat is a nimble critter which approaches you very fast and hard to hit, but it is not really powerful and hardly be a major threat.
According to some myths and tales, a large cat has 9 lives. Wanna try them in minefields?
