Blink dogs are highly intelligent canines, believed to be creatures of law and order. In this game, however, they are not very smart, friendly, nor even powerful; but if you have some [[bone]]s you can easily tame them, just like [[puppy|puppies]].

Blink dogs have a unique property of existing simultaneously in the physical world and other planes, which allows them to "blink". This manifests as an ability to [[teleport]] a short distance each time you attack them (whether you hit or not), leading to mildly annoying fights, but sometimes saving your life if the whole pack surrounds you. Also, each time they blink, they have a small chance to call another blink dog, essentially summoning more and more of their kin.
