There are a nice selection of varied weapons in IVAN. Ultimately, you're justified in choosing almost any weapon type in the game to become proficient at, because each weapon is circumstantially useful. Thus I will not won't tell you which *not* to choose a weapon type to choose--instead I will describe with my best ability the pros and cons of tell you what you can expect from each choiceand what you should probably do *if* you choose a certain weapon type.
