Drinking from [[Fountain|fountains]] or stepping through [[Gas|magic gas]] (from a magical mushroom, staff of wonderous smells, etc.) could possibly give the character Polymorphing, PolyControl, or both.
The message for receiving polymorph status is "An uncomfortable uncertainty of who you really are overwhelms you".
