Nice work, I was thinking as soon as i wrote it that this was really a moot point by and that they are mathematically equivalent and its just how you think of it but through devious means you actually proved how the code was written. I should have remember what I learned in Gynecology:

When generating a differential diagnosis in gynecology always remember to think outside the box.

(very funny if you are a native english speaker.)

As an all natural limbs IVAN player I can assure that stats are trained individually for each limb. When a limb is replaced with with a new flesh limb it is exactly the same strength as the one that was lost. I you play a long time missing one limb or with artificial limb then that limb does not get trained. When you get a new flesh limb it is the exact same strenghth as the last flesh limb you had and the AStr value displayed is the SUM (not average) of the two limb strengths. Eg lose an arm at AStr 12 and your Astr drops to six. train you good arm until you have an AStr of 10 (total) and then drink a healing potion and you will have an Astr of 16 (10 + 6).

Ok that really helps, i would pray to all of the neutral gods and every god that im aligned to.

EDIT

Also, i dont understand how to use the MIHAIL tool, can someone help me.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you but it seems like you think you can pray to all the neutral gods plus a go that matches your alignment (eg legifer if you were very lawful). If so then this is wrong.

I'm pretty sure I posted a pretty detail post about gods in here somewhere but maybe its in the old forum.

But basically depending on which set of gods you pick you should be able to pray to 6 or 7 gods no problem if you balance it right. Eg. Mellis, Loricatus, Silva, Sophos, Dulcis, Seges (6), or Loricatus - Legifer and Atavus (7). Balance is the key. Every god you pray to upsets gods that are more than 2 alignment units away. So in the first example (Mellis-Seges) Silva is the center, praying to her has no effect on Seges/dulcis or mellis but praying to mellis pleases mellis and loses favor with Seges/dulcis and viceversa but this favor lost is mitigated by the favor gained. If you pray to seges/dulcis every time you will eventually piss mellis off because it is one god vs 2 but you can accommodate for this by also offering items to mellis or reading his books. Also don;t forget you can check what a god thinks of you safely by offering a useless item like say a lantern. If you piss a god off then just don;t pray to him/her for 24 hours and then offer stuff at the alter to make sure its safe to pray again.

yeah he's a bitch but valpurium strongboxes will stop him from shattering wands in chests.

yeah strongboxes are way better than chests for protecting stuff. also its worth SOCMing them to a harder material, diamond is nice.

Yeah, iwas wondering about the willpower stat too. I just started playing my first ever game of IVAN CVS.

Other changes I've noticed that haven;t been commented on yet
1. mellis gives out school food very rarely now so it is no longer a viable method to gain End/HP. This makes the game much harder which is good for me I guess.

2. the "." is no longer a direction key or maybe that is just with Z's 3d version

3. there was something else but i forget what.....

I think the worst is having Ischaldirh make evil clones of you. Trying to fight three of your evil twins, who have the same kick ass gear as you, while getting zapped and fireballed doesn't go so well.

Died again.

I forgot about Freelance Berzerker's advice about vorpal attacks (as he called it) where once you get an item to level 65 and 64 skill then regular baddies become super human. I was training my shield stats, since this will be key to my attempt at a biting victory and maxed out my mithril shield +2. The next monster that came along ripped me in half. Lesson learned: stop training at 95% (level 19). I was only at 87 HP because it is easier to train skills with low HP. Third time's the charm....
