Thanks fejoa!!

The window size doesn't seem to have changed but the resolution looks a lot smaller. Hm

Have you been playing with a different resolution previously?

IVAN 0.56 is out now! Check out the new icon for mac and windows.

I'm sure I missed a few things on the release description. Anyone have a good summary of changes?

In build news: Windows builds are being done with mxe again. Jeepers homebrew was slow today... mac builds seem to download a lot of "cruft" before they get going.

EDIT: Ooh, new page!

I missed this, so awesome! I must remember to try this trick when I next find an amulet of life saving!

Not working for me...

The next release should be back up to the usual standard. Should be out before the end of the month.

For the purposes of distributing the IVAN software, I prefer the pixelated too. The icon has brand recognition after all these years. I like to think its style was appropriated by Minecraft.

I like the modern banana pickaxe logo for our website though, reckon it'd look great on a t-shirt. Not sure who the originator of that logo is.

I've added an update here.

What happens if you run IVAN.exe from DependencyWalker?

You do that by turning the scaling option to x2 right?

Yup. Just keep fiddling with the stuff in the config menu. Some changes may require a restart of the application.

I like the music, but I'm biased since it was done by a friend of mine.
The graphical scaling feature by AquariusPower is superb.

I feel like the fire subsystem needs more ways to put out flames, like sitting in a fountain should put all flames out.

Hmm, perhaps when PC and a non-hostile NPC chats, it could end all their action points, since they have stopped to chat with the PC. 'R' would then have to memorize the chat direction.
