Are they leafing through page after page on the wiki?

Or do they spend all their time trawling through all our posts in search of our ancient wisdom on beating the game, and best techniques for getting past Jenny?

for a long time I did both before registering, your posts have made me laugh too many times and educated even more. IMO, dedicated enough players will go through everything and piece out each and every nibble of info..

one more reason to find early blink dogs or steal that Jaguar Shirt.

each transaction with shopkeepers involves 'What a fine X of X'. would be nice for an array of adjectives to describe different grades of items.

What a Glorious Justifier of Valpurus!
What a Pathetic lump of Gneiss..
Ooo what beautiful blue eyes you have, I'll pay 25 schmeckels for them..

I'm all for tweaking the blink dog flesh, telecontrol is very strong even from the ring.
playing with the script folder past few days.. this perma-state 'feature'|superbug is very useful and outright OP at times

A character who I play often Loves INT, after a while in the lower GC he happily gains perma Telecontrol and ESP, along with his love of Intelligence, newfound TeleControl + stack of Wands of Teleport, he may blink endlessly around, while finding any threats. (ESP should scale with PER)
Like Polyitis and Teleportitis, ESP(ESP-ing?) gained natural could/should activate every few turns(think Detecting Status) . The higher your ESP/Telecontrol, the longer you can have it in effect. Amulets being Permanent by wearing need not switch off every so often.

to remove the bug would spark hell for the lovers and haters. To address some of the strategies we've developed around this emergent feature or NERF it a tad (now 3 Floating eyes, say 5 instead) and allow a chance/event to remove it. 'You ate some mutated blink dog flesh'[ you may NEVER have telecontrol ever again..']

Situtation, you've been bitten by a vampire. You visited every priest to try and cure you(he muttered something about evil!). You've eaten 3 Grey Unicorns and you still can't remove the curse of having to feeding off living people.

Upon finding this refuge of the outcasts of each society living here you happen upon an Apothecary owned by an Old Vampire Named Senex. Talking to him while near starved, he mentions a special item he has been holding onto for a many years. He shows you a Scroll which behaves like paper but is made of something dark red, with Gold-glowing inscriptions.

He explains that this scroll once eaten can sate the thirst of a Vampire for 1001 nights, Conversely if read it cause all entities around the reader to gain a thirst for flesh for 666 days.

(if you have a Wand of Cloning, he'll offer to give you a clone of his scroll in exchange for the Wand, [A use for them 1 Charge wands!]

After downloading the Zip(nice way of sharing an Ivan, I ran around with a new character yesterday. No bones found, still had a blast.

today I load it up and find your bones file on UT2, having picked up a Scroll of Repair I was happy to also find your Broken Unholy Mjolak. Promptly fixed and with the wand of Teleport I Zapped Jenny to a far away tile and proceeded to Old Attnam. BDR's ghost also had an AOLS.

unfortunately quitting the game made Ivan froze at the 'Show massacres' screen. On to the next challenge!

Visiting Mondedr, I always go for the shop and the Priest. I feel there needs to be either more shops or many themed shops pertaining to Exiled or Rogue Actors.. A Dwarfen shopkeeper who deals primarily with Gold/Mithril, A Vampire who specialises in blood, an Elf who deals with Enchantments and a Dark Rogue Wizard who has treasures from the arcane(I'm looking at you 'Blood Scroll of Vampirism')
