Go create an IVAN variant which includes cardiological and respirological aspects of adventuring.

Yeah, maybe it's not clear, but it's a diff between the official CVS (the version which was most recent at the time, I think it is still the most recent) and IVAN 3D v10.

There is a diff for patch v10 for upload, I think v11 fixes only the valdemar spawning rate...

Maybe you should have called yourself Microsoft instead of Apple.

I do not mind, and I even should not. But there are some signs that the official IVAN development will continue.

If you use C++, then, as capristo and IVAN devs suggest, use SDL - a library for graphics (and sound). SDL is portable, so works with Linux and others.

That's what I would use, but if you feel more comfortable with Java, or any other good language, then you could have success with that, too.

If you have a particular version, variant, or non-Nethack roguelike you'd like supported, please contact me.

I guess you could try this, it should be easier to port an existing system to IVAN than to create a new one.

Holy banana, but I suppose enner can break it?

In one of previous versions it was possible to can a mutant corpse for a permanent light source. Not now.

I think having two threads titled "Thunder/Lightning" and "Thunder Hammer" was redundant. Maybe not as redundant as... (I don't know if that thread still exists) but still. Let's keep a balance between long threads and many threads.

I never used the chameleon whip. I am afraid that it will turn the enemy into something powerful.

Thunder hammer is safe if you are VERY careful... but only then.
