Wow amazing win JoKe, I can never keep up a natural limb game. Always get scared and change at least one or two by the time I get to Elpuri or so. And flesh weapons is a great challenge idea. Did you use any gas immunity? I always find the "wondrous smells" to be more frustrating than helpful, though its a fun weapon to use. Is it more powerful than a normal staff?

Don't know if this is the appropriate thread but I wanted to put this idea for an item somewhere before I forget.

If the player can successfully behead the Enner beast, his head is wearable as a helmet. The death message could mention something about there being a hollow resonance cavity where a brain would be expected. On wearing the severed head, the player is given a state of deafness, reducing or ignoring sound damage and effects. Periodically the helmet emits a roar similar to but weaker than the living enner beast's, though the player character only "feels a violent rumbling in his head" or something similar. This helmet could also possibly grant ESP, or whichever state enner beast flesh grants.

I would also expect some downsides to make it more in the spirit of the game. An obvious one is to make the severed head eventually rot away, since it is made of flesh. Another more complex idea is to make it explosive, putting the player wearing this helmet at great risk of head explosion if exposed to fire and making the item very difficult to obtain through fireball attacks on the beast. I'm worried this would make the enner beast himself even more vulnerable to mines, but perhaps they could be eliminated from his lair or be aligned to his "team" to give him vision of them?

I might try to start working on code for this at some point, but I'm not very good and this is far beyond anything I've attempted. Mostly just leaving this here in case anyone else can take some inspiration from it.

I was disappointed not to see Sherry at all, I made a bunch of valpurium bear traps just for her. Saw all the rest I think, except maybe Guugzamesh. Sorry for few details, was tired and kind of in shock haha.
Spell casters really don't use polymorph? Don't really get that far often enough to be sure, but even if it's my wands breaking polycontrol is definitely essential for me. There's nothing more infuriating than having the best gear and stats and then dying because you turned into a spider.
Edit: sorry warheck, didn't really answer your question. Besides Rondol all the named monsters were pretty much right after I finished intelligence training and changing all my equipment and limbs. Izzy was first, he spawned on Ivan's level when it was generated. With ESP and telecontrol I just chased after him til I could land a good hit. Xinroch and Golgor Dan were plain old melee, maybe with one or two bear traps but I'm not sure.

I mean by the time you reach Elpuri, there are casters trying to polymorph you but he did also break a lot of my wands even in a chest. I think he has some crushing bite attack? I think mystic frogs are the perfect use for resurrection, they give buffs like invisibility and haste to you and all your teammates and have ranged lightning spells. They're a pain in the ass to keep alive though so it might be best to bring the corpse to where you need it.
I found five cans of cerumen on a bones and cloned them a couple times, so it was involved but I think it was legit enough. I'm convinced that there are hidden stats that determine the rate you train str, dex/agi, int/wis and treasure finds. This character seemed to be good at learning and I made it to about 35 int/wis before messing with cerumen. Tamed master necromancers from the zombie level were also a good for science talking and they seem to be unlimited.

I did kill Oree, but took on Petrus first. Before Elpuri even. I decided against wearing the shirt for screenshot since once I got it all the fighting was over, and valpurium had higher AV. Petrus wasn't a hard fight at all compared to Elpuri this time since I'd been dragging tame monsters into town and charming guards with a pack full of lyres. With a solid front-line clone or two and a few casters in the back, all I had to do was finish off a limbless torso. I practically charmed all of Attnam before I felt safe starting the fight, but the Justifier definitely helped in the later game. PolyControl is required by Elpuri and having it through a weapon let me free up a ring slot for invisibility.

I'd like to humbly announce that I've finally beaten version 0.50. Prolly killed Elpuri a dozen times before, but always held out for a high priest win. Nothing about the game particularly stands out except that I found five bones files, with two levels each containing two different ghosts and the last one on Elpuri's level. Dumb luck really helped me out but that's just fine with me. Oh, also I used no wishes if that counts for anything (didn't receive any until it was too late to help.)

Huh I've always done the diagonal explosion standing when possible, wasn't sure how legit it was though.

Recently I've been training through UT with wooden sticks for weapons. They are treated as blunt weapons and will give you skill useful for the artifact maces. Sticks are one of the few objects that have variable mass; debris from digging walls works, but the best training sticks are dropped by wooden golems. These are apparently the lightest form of stick, weighing less than half as much as a broken bottle. The light weight makes for rapid attacks that do little damage but quickly train dexterity and don't cause fatigue. Sticks seem to train dex faster than broken bottles or banana peels and don't give useless skill, rot, or break. Solid armor is essential for this tactic as repeatedly tapping on your enemies with balsa twigs doesn't make them happy.

Also, is this cheating? Gather a few broken bottles and walk on them to remove a leg. Pray to Sophos, occasionally she will replace the missing leg with one made of ommel cerumen. By repeating these steps as necessary, it is relatively easy to obtain a 5000g chunk of ommel cerumen, enough to instantly grow a huge beard.

Screenshot pretty much gives it a away, butSPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
Didn't give myself any items, just several pet Sherrys spawned in a circle around Decos. Kicking a guard made them start attacking, and when the room was clear I went for Decos's ring of infravision. With sight of the Sherrys, I disarmed one and kicked her. Original plan was to just kick one pet Sherry till she died, but I guess she isn't a masochist like I expected.

Edit:SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
Going for fastest time. Spawning Sherry on top of a pile of traps doesn't work, she has to actually step on them...

Huh, my mistake then... Was just about to test it in a normal game, glad I checked cause I would hate to have lost the belt just to find out. Thanks 4zba. I didn't realize the game made a distinction between "during revolution" and "post revolution," but that makes sense since the growers are still carrying around bananas and not idly talking about how they can be professors and whatnot again.

I do remember clearing out the guards and Decos and Huang mentioning something about not letting me challenge him because he no longer gets fed by the imperialists.

Hmm, that might sound vaguely familiar...
I'm sure I've done it though... guess I'll to have to try to do it again to see.
