Hey fejoa, I managed to cobble together a way to change the fonts in the configuration menu! I have practically no programming experience but I realized the Outline options were already doing the exact same thing with a different graphics file. I copy-pasted the code for Dungeon Scaling in the configuration menu and figured out how to select a Font png. I've got a compiled version working perfectly, though it still requires a restart.

I'm a little overwhelmed with Gihub though, is there a way to cancel my merge request and resubmit it? Was that you commenting on my upload?

If this was an option in IVAN, the current setting would be called "easy" and it would only get harder.

There are a few things you can do to minimize your danger level in game, such as not getting super tough limbs with hundreds of HP.

Hmm I tried on github, but it says I need push access to upload files. If you think it's ok feel free to add them yourself, the magenta files I posted are ready-to-use replacements for Font.png from the Graphics folder. I didn't change any characters with diacritics though. As far as I know they are not used in the base game. Edit: I figured out the fork/pull request thing. I simply added the files though, I have no way to switch them in-game.

I like the second one wayyy better, but I'm not sure about the license. In the thread I took the characters from though, someone claimed that bitmap typfaces were not subject to copyright at least in the US because of their utilitarian nature. Do you think that one's alright? Apparently the original sources of some characters include Super Mario Brothers and a fan translation of an old Final Fantasy.

To be honest I wasn't terribly pleased with it fitting with the game, but it's nice to have a serif option I guess. I made another version I'm much happier with, but I took it from some internet random guy and the sources seem to be a mix of commercial material.

I don't dare set foot in GC until I get a belt of levitation. If I can't get it before hand, I'll only briefly scout the first level or two searching before practically every step. Mustard gas is also a critical emergency at any time, the very first turn available should be used to teleport away.

Well I somehow managed to accidentally delete my strong guy autosaves, dangit. I figured out how to compile though. C++ support is not included in GCC by default, G++ must also be installed. This wasn't terribly clear from the INSTALL instructions. So far it looks like the golem problem has already been resolved in the source, nice.

My autosaves just don't work. Tested with multiple characters, every time I start up IVAN after my pc crashed all autosaves just don't work. When I try to load them it starts a new game and I can't save anymore.

I'm also having autosave problems, though I think it worked at least once in the past. I have save files but IVAN crashes every time I try to continue them. I hope there's a way to salvage them, I'm finally strong enough to survive the onslaught of golems. I only LOST MY ARM TO A MAN MADE OF BREAD.

Also having trouble compiling the linux version, cmake says it is unable to find a cxx compiler but I'm sure that's a problem on my end. So I'm using Windows version through Wine.

Incredible work here guys. I haven't been able to figure out the smithing rooms yet, do anvils and furnaces serve any function? I saw an item underneath an anvil in my last game and couldn't retrieve it, I tried kicking it out but i only kicked the anvil

Amazed by this release.

Hadn't thought about effects on the gods. Maybe each time the effect is triggered, favor with Dulcis could be decreased by some amount? I don't remember exactly how it works, but in my mind this would quickly make her hate the character and eventually spread the ill will to the other lawful gods.
