Bottle gas inmunity idea

What if you could equip bottles on your head, that would give inmunity to gases, such as skunk smell, sleeping gas, and the after damage of mustard gas, since you aren't breathing it but it still burns when it touches your skin.
Bottles would be fragile so just being hit on the head once would break them, they would be usefull for example if you fight with a skunk on a hallway with no other exits, and you don't have a pickaxe instead of waiting you just put a bottle on your head and walk by the skunk smell.

It would be cool/logical that if you throw an object on top of an active mine it triggers the mine
