Lure him out of the house with bananas or just wait for him to move to eat the three bananas one of the growers keeps bringing to him. It's easier if you lure him out yourself, since there's more time to vomit.

That's how I'd do it anyways. Though I'm too lazy to actually return to UT3 for more DEX training, and prefer getting all the stat boosts I can before leaving UT in the first place.

Banana peels for DEX, a bit of unarmed training and dissolving Pong's legs with vomit. Works almost every time. Just make sure to enter the arena before he dies.

I've never kept any of my status effects after being resurrected by an AoLS.

Nope, wishing for a scroll of wishing does not work. I tried doing that a long time ago after reading one and not knowing what to wish for. It's also quite easy to check from the script files, there should be a line "IS_WISHABLE: FALSE;" (or something to that extent, can't remember what it actually is) on the entry for scrolls of wishing.

Nah, I doubt it's caused by taming a skeleton. I've recently been getting levels with only negatively enchanted gear without taming skeletons at all. Causes some silly results when a named mob happens to spawn on the level, too.

That's quite unreliable way of doing it, seeing as a piece of ceiling would have to fall on one of the crystals and then mined out to get the chunks. Since the quake itself doesn't break even lanterns, why would it break the crystals?

Wands of striking also seem to work. Darn it.

So the things that can destroy the crystals are AT LEAST pick axes, kicking, explosions, wands. What more?
