Maybe you could improve your chances of putting the fire out via rapid movement too? Equip burning items in hand and hit things with it?

Even better than hitting things, implementing a way to force an attack in a chosen direction. That could be used to help with fires on held items + your arms, along with kicking for legs. Then again, flailing around while you're on fire isn't exactly the most efficient method of putting yourself out IRL. Additional oxygen available etc. Would work for smaller fires though.

On dipping burning things into liquids, shouldn't vodka explode if you try to extinguish things with it?

Even if a player could put out fires manually, it's probably a good idea to have some chance of them going out on their own. Especially so if you need to expend resources to do it.

Two-three zaps with a wand of fireballs is enough to kill him. Helps to read a scroll of detect material for enner beast flesh to find him quickly, too.

Alternatively for a riskier approach, haste yourself and detect + teleport next to him right after a scream.

Seems like new posts do not get detected until you refresh the page?
I keep seeing this as well. The new post indicator only lights up after you load the page a second time.

Sometimes things do spawn with heavy negative enchants on everything, which is what Kamos is probably after here. I haven't got the slightest clue why it happens, it's very likely to be a bug.

The only real downside to the random teleports is how all those amulets are likely to be picked up by a passing farmer before you get to them. Waiting longer obviously also needs a food source of some sort. Eddies also work for shoplifting, if it wasn't already obvious.

The NPC teleportation only happens as a melee attack.

What happens if it polymorphs back into an eddie while in the world map?
Doesn't matter, its team doesn't change back when the polymorph ends.

If we're just trying to steal stuff via teleportation, what about eddies? They randomly teleport stuff they're floating above. You could zap one with a polymorph and tame it (can't be tamed usually) to make it follow you back to Attnam.

Extending the effect to random pieces of armor would be a good way to make effective use of the trick much harder and would make more sense than having your arms turn to bananas.

Material softening as it stands is terribly overpowered IMO, as even blocking attacks with Eptyron seems to soften the striker's weapon. Going against one of these means that the moment your weapon is softened, you lose the accustomization bonus since it's not shared between materials, not to even mention having to burn through additional SoCMs. The soften also currently works against Neerc and Justifier, neither of which you can change the material of yourself.

So long as the softens are restricted to a single named NPC or such and the melee block soften nerfed, it could be fine.

To be honest I really don't like the green valpurium; it just somehow doesn't fit as the strongest armor material around. I get that Valpurus is green and by extension his material could be, but the neon green just looks off. The current golden is more of a holy radiant material of the gods.

For .50, I can't really think of anything else balance-wise that would need fixing besides the elite guard/patrol guard taming and those mentioned above. Artificial limbs are really strong for how easily they're gotten, and the lack of natural healing isn't quite enough to balance it out. Maybe they should be made harder to get, like increasing the INT requirement for attached limbs? Or even better, forcing players to detach said limbs first before changing the material?
