I was originally using the master of the github repo, but just now I recompiled on `v0507`. I tried fejoas save again and caps save, but both had the problem. Sorry, but I think I'll have to bow out. Good luck guys!

Huh. With the script directory replaced by the contents of the Script folder in the save file, I get a 100% CPU lockup with a huge memory leak trying to start a new game or load the save file.

(For reference, a wand of fireballs produces an explosion with damage 75 + RAND() % 25 - RAND() % 25 and not pure fire damage on impact. Explosions have their own convoluted code that involves splitting the total strength of the explosion between physical (shrapnel, shockwave) and fire damage (blast))

Wand of fireballs does only fire damage. I didn't think my code was convoluted!

I'll give it a shot too, presumably after fejoa reports back.

Isn't acid resistance already intrinsical to stone materials? I thought this is why weeping blade does not break from it's own acid.

When I made weeping blades, originally they were going to coat themselves in acid, just like daggers of venom (which I made at the same time). Then I found out that the acid broke them, so I changed the mechanics to just spash acid on things they hit, about as often as flaming swords deal fire damage. They're supposed to *seem* immune to their own acid, but it's not actually the case.

As far as the sound resistance: since there is only one source of sound damage in the game (that I know of), I'm all for just leaving it as AV and spending our time on kiwi reanimation and other things that will happen more than once per run.

Either evaporating off their limbs or redirecting to torso is good. The torso hits should be invisible to the player, who just swings away until the ghost dies. I like the evaporating limbs a bit more.

Telecontrol change seems good, but I think 3 floating eyes are already sufficiently painful. Also, we should double check that eating the new blink dog gives telecontrol at least as long as it would take to burn the food counter that you gained.

Wow. You're scary good at this game. I've only ever managed an Elpuri victory.

INT >= 5 allows ESP to work. As far as I can tell there are no special exceptions for being Spoily.

I could do it, as one of the minor contributors to the code before it was originally abandoned. I could message Hexi to see if he's interested, although as far as I know he's washed his hands of it around when he started his PhD.

To be honest, RL Radio, or I suppose Andrew, is one of my big sources of inspiration for why I've never tried to make a RL. In one of the earlier shows, they're discussing 7DRLs and then they went off on a tangent about how games written in Python are not worth the trouble getting to run so that they can play them. As Python is my favorite language, it was a pretty big turnoff to trying to do something. The last episode I listened to was episode 100, YASDs. People contributed their stories and Andrew was declaring "Oh this person's death isn't a good story because it's too specific to the game; not general enough to the wider genre. Oh this story wasn't very good because it was more luck than stupidity." I mean, perhaps he is the best one to judge since he's the one running the big podcast, but it still turned me off to the show to have this guy passing judgement what is and is not worthy. After he solicited their stories for his show, no less! It was incredibly disrespectful to trash their contributions on the recording like that, IMO.

So, you know, I don't really like them. But I've been into RLs for 18+ years and have contributed to a few games in small ways. Your guys call! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
