Well if anyone else has fan art for IVAN let me know. It's very easy to add.

I would use BBCode, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with links to the corners on my server. Not quite sure what the deal there is but either way you'd end up having to copy and paste links. Using BBCode just puts shit on the beginning and end of the URL's. Pretty sure it has to do with the spaces in the names.

I'll also add anything I can find in that thread and fix up a directory structure to give each author their own section.

[EDIT] Done. Let me know if there's anything I've missed. And capristo: any chance you could look into what's causing the bbcode to fuck up with my URL's? It handled my two videos just fine but won't seem to work with any kind of subdirectory (the vids were on the root of my fileserver).

My upload is capped at around 200 kbps so it might not be the fastest possible speed for you but at least it's convenient and you don't have to dig around for old URL's.

Have you tried using VideoLAN? I believe that player supports .h264 playback out of the box. Also, the second film is encoded with XviD since I figured it was a bit more common.

Yeah, great intro. Really this was just me fucking around with compression options to create a smaller (yet still watchable) file size for both recording and encoding. The source footage's size was about a third of Fuck Dogs and was twice as long. The final product is lower quality but still watchable and, more importantly, smaller.

The result of Slob asking if you could make an IVAN movie in IRC. Nifty proof that it can be done, and most movie buffs will be happy to know that Tom Cruise gets killed quick in this one. Note that you either need an h264 codec installed or a decent stand-alone player to view this, such as VLC or KMPlayer. It's short, but that amount of footage took up around 1 gig of space before compression!

See, U_E and Atomic are two of the reasons I actually came back to this community. They both have a good sense of humor and don't let every little fucking thing get to them. That is indeed what life is all about, though this thread really isn't the proper place for discussions about philosophy.

Seriously, if you find one of my comments offensive or "mean" why don't you take a second look at my avatar. I mean really, if I had a picture of Hitler assfucking a nun I could understand why people would automatically assume the worst, but I'm a pretty laid-back guy and in all honesty I don't hold a hell of a lot of ill will. Personally I find the whole "I lost a leg and don't know how" scenario absolutely fucking hilarious because I'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE. I remember my first games when I had a leg or arm drop to the ground for no apparent reason. However, instead of creating a damn thread and asking everybody else what happened I paid closer attention to the game and figured it out all by myself.
