My guy is stacked, and I has been dual wielding +5 nymph hair whips since UT3. skill is in the mid teens. I come across the bones of the char i mentioned in my last post that got pwned by Guggy except this time I FUCKING FACE RAPED THAT BITCH. finally after losign tons of promising charecters to that fuker i got him.
now my question is this, should i take that +3 mojo and pump the hell out of it and use that, or pump my whips like craxy and wait for SoCM? I am tempted by the thought of a +11 mojo plowing into those greasy litte bitches chest as they scream fruitless words of prayer to their gods.
then again I have been doing pretty well with the dual whips, and the best guy I ever had dual wielded whips. My guy trains agi/dex like crazy. and watching all their limbs go flying is a lot of fun too.
I am currently parked on CG1 polypiling items to sace to mellis to get hiim friendly with me so i can get some school food and get my end up. that is always what kills me, not enought HP's for the mosnters i am fighting.
I name all of my characters either Scamp or Jerry (they are the names of 2 of my ferrets)
sometimes I mix up the spellings if I'm feeling particularly wacky.
was there an eddy on the level?
Yeah I am pretty sure wet whips do more damage. I have a pretty good track record of being wrong though.
do they have any purpose other than dipping whips in them for slightly more damage?
speaking of Ivan how good are his hammer and sickle? do they have any special properties? I dont think they have a page on the wiki. Is there any combo benefit to wielding them both?
I always fall for the trap that the super damage is worth it. I just cant help myself because every time i find it i envision it enchanted up to like +9 faceraping every dude who comes along. But I forget that I have 11astr and no SoEW. it just happened to me again, I had a pretty nice guy going. good stats lucky equipment finds good gear, 2 wands of poly on GC1 (nice!) and bam. killed by Fricking Rondol. I had found Mojo on like turn three in UT1, and thought my level 10 skill in it wold be enough.
Is it worth it to hold onto mojo until i get my astr up and find some SoEW? It seems like it would be a waste of weight because by the time I would be able to use it well, I would be heavily trained with other weapons already (most likely).
Why the shield? wouldnt you have been better off at that point 2 weaponing?
Doesnt matter, Im dead. I had my wand of tele exploded by a kamikazee dwarf and ended up standing next to gugahzmezhsh, who promtly cutm e to shreds. I can count how many af my best charecters have been wasted by that dude. I only had 87 HP's though, I always have the hardest time training End.
on that topic is Armor of great health worth it? ISTR a few years ago the wisdom being that it should be avoided because it causes harder spawns, is this acccurate?
are you sure, I though the wiki said that a wished for wand of cloning only has 1 charge.
