Sounds good, but sometimes a map can be overwhelmed by mushrooms and make the game crash repeatedly. Happened to my brother a few weeks ago. I think that should be fixed before implementing something like this.

I'm not familiar with the tomb of Xinroch, can you please explain what's wrong there?

Thanks for the data. I think the name is somewhat misleading, though, as lightning and fire spells are still magic.

About willpower, how would that stat train? I'm not very fond of a chance of negating all damage or effects from spells, honestly. I'd rather prefer effect magnitude or duration reduction, maybe in the form of a percentage range to make it less predictable (say each spell effect is reduced between 15-25% for instance). It makes more sense and is more reliable than an all or nothing approach, which I believe also comes from the need to simplify calculations in pen and paper games.

Yah, I noticed that too. Good that they don't penalize int or wis, that would suck.

Haha, yeah well, there was Oree's blood pools already to be honest.

Everyone remember, if you're levitating over water (or blood) through a belt of levitation and open the change equipment menu you're just one keystroke away from (your most frustrating) death (ever).

Seriously, though, is there a way to fix this? I still can't believe it. Or to missquote banana growers: "E + E = Death. I still don't believe it.".

Great. Now that I think of it, it has been very common for me to sense golems through esp that are not currently on my line of view in my last games. Are there different int stats for different golem types? I thought it might be related to material, but now I suspect it might be this very same bug.

Yes, that's true. We could maybe change the satiated status to not abuse agi at least?
Or maybe make Seges not make you satiated anymore, but leaving you a tiny bit below that and only applying that prayer effect if you're near hungry? That way we could make use of the exhaustion curing more often, which would be rather nice. We could even add a slightly hungry status to make things more clear.

I can't believe this just happened. I've been playing with this char for days, training its stats. Already got 100+ int and wis, and was waiting for the spider silk golem to spawn so I could clone the scroll of change material and some ommel fluids I was saving. On one of my praying rutines I intended to switch my black diamond scimitar for an ukku steel short sword for Loricatus to harden to adamant (or try anyway). Here is were things went awfully wrong. I was on gloomy cave level 5 and I was hovering over the lake, and pressed E to change equipment. Then, I accidentally pressed E (belt slot) instead of F (right wield slot), resulting in immediate drowning. Apparently, even though I actually had not unequipped my belt of levitation yet, just choosing the belt slot automatically unequipped it before even accepting or choosing another belt.

This is so wrong I can't explain the level of frustration I have right now. I uploaded the most recent in-game screenshot I had so you can see what a nice character I lost due to this nonsense. I had orichalcum gear and perma invisibility, haste, esp and telecontrol, killed Elpuri, Ur-Khan and Golgor Dhan. Basically a perfect character lost in the most ridiculous way ever.

I'm pissed.

It might be interesting if a PC had more control over prayer effects; i.e. if I had the option to pray for food, or healing, or an earthquake etc. It might be handled as an optional text entry field when praying, which could be parsed a bit like a wish. Of course, praying to Mellis for an earthquake shouldn't work, and may even waste your wish and/or cost piety... but it could also help avoid situations where you desperately need a certain prayer effect (Sophos' teleport effect because you are surrounded) and get a different one (in previous example, get a new leg made of parchment).

I love this idea. It would come really handy for Seges to clear all exhaustion rather than filling your stomach. More often than not, I find myself prefering the first over the second and it's a bit annoying having to get slightly satiated on my own to then pray and get rid of the tiredness, so as to avoid abusing agility by being satiated for a long time. Also, you might be injured on the brink of death and she'll happily fill your stomach rather than heal you from your mortal wounds.

It would be nice for other gods too, as you mentioned. Silva could offer another effect besides causing earthquakes.

That's such a poetic way to die.

Gotta love this game.
