I didn't do detailed research, but it seems to me that the magnitude of Mellis' rumours depends on how much mad he is, so he must've been very, very angry himself.

To make up, it's the regular stuff - read books (of the ones You wish to be in good realtions with) and sacrifice stuff. Eventually, it will fix the relations... There is nothing as global good-rumours though... Collect orc, dark knight equipment on a level with the proper altar (polymorph another altar if necessary), and sacrifice it, again and again. It's tedious but with some effort, it should bring the good times back

1. It's good when done with good timing (the regular timespace between prayers is 3 hours)
2. Sacrificing "favourite" items, out of a god's tied material and enchanted, hi quality etc - very visibly. In general, even lanterns are good to make up with some less angry gods!
3. I dunno, never done it.
4. Yeah, praying to neutral dieties slightly improves relations with all the neutrals, evil for evils etc. Also, for example praying to Silva slightly improves relations with Sophos (for example) IIRC.
5 I don't know.

Hey I never thought of this way to lose artificial legs, actually. Dumb me.

Even considering how often werewolfing pops out... not really. Still not safe.

So you volunteer to have the skills ? Ha, lurk forums and see if this is easily doable, and give it a go, then.

Me and my brother we are looking for a gp2x soon, now that seems to have a fair SDK (duh, has a port duke nukem 3d and Albion...)

Changing from time to time, but I don't know at what intervals. More often you'll be at wereform I think.

If you have polycontrol, can you control your werewolf form in any way?

Yes, you will be asked something like 'Do you want to transform into a werewolf y/N ?' each time a transformation was to occur, but with the default selection to 'no', so it won't be a nuisance and major interruption.

Lol, if You really need to carry gunpowder, leave it on the stairs each time

Only while in were-form, and the stuff gets just unequiped, so it's not lost btw.

Welcome to the forums, Ninjaspud.

Lycanthropy can be earned early at the werewolf level in the gloomy caves (~GC 2-4), by eating the werewolf's corpse. Earlier - only if a werewolf spawns elsewhere, or (mostly temporarily) from fountains...

Quite high stats compared to early-game enemies, especially high agility (therefore - speed) and instant healing by the time of the transformation into a werewolf are the obvious pros. For cons I would say that the fact that the werewolf doesn't train/evolve/advance very well (each time he gets back to standard werewolf stats, no way to keep any boosts), that NO equipment can be worn (lack of which for example makes even the plants on UT3 a danger). Oh, and can't use pick-axes either.

If I manage to get lycanthropy early, I usually stick to it, as a werewolf carries more and has a better chance of survival than a beginner player character. A good thing is, that the priest in the cathedral can, at just about any time, cure lycanthropy for 100gp. The priestess of Silva also will, and is cheaper, but I'm not sure how much.

I had the same problem, pressing "mark all posts read" fixed it for me.

Yes but that's only a workaround now.
See picture:

When I posted a shout a couple of minutes ago, it didn't broadcast my whole message ('Jimmeh & Zoohlocks remember' etc etc), and shoutlog.php is now still something like the upper half, but whenever I type something in the textbox the red/pink error shows up (and adjusts with every char I type). Is it because I used the ampersand (&)?
