Is vermis worth it? I never used it in earlier versions, but its by far the best weapon I have found in my current game (just defeated enner).

I love Vermis. Tele + telecontrol is quite good, you have to dismiss some teleports but you'll also get quite a few free ones to get around the levels faster. And I never minded the enemy teleportation. It saved my life a few times.

Vermis annoys me to the point that it's not worth it
However, spears & halberds have always been my weapon of choice, so it's a good skill to train until you find a better replacement

I also had the idea that it trains your int, I think from a guide Alveradok did some years ago, but never actually got an increase from teleporting I believe. Is this confirmed?

Controlled teleports do train INT, confirmed. It's one of the reasons I like keeping a ring of teleportation or other sources of teleportitis on for. Not sure about uncontrolled teleports, I can't recall ever getting an increase from those.

But is it like a very small amount or something? Also, does the distance teleported affect the exp in int gained at all? And does choosing not to teleport, which gives a message like you dissappear for a moment or something similar, train int too?

It is a very small amount, like only a single point or two total over a full run. I don't think I've ever gotten a single skill up from teleporting in place, no clue as for if distance has any effect.
